Tennis in Istanbul

This year's "Istanbul Cup", an international women's tennis tournament, will take place between May 19 and 24 at Tekstilkent Arena,on the European side of Istanbul.
World's top tennis players will compete at Istanbul Cup which is one of the 50 tournaments of Sony Ericsson WTA tour.
Elena Dementieva of Russia won last year's tournament where several tennis stars such as Maria Sharapova of Russia, Patty Schneider of Switzerland and Venus Williams of USA vied for the championship.
