Beylerbeyi is one of the most attractive districts in Uskudar,between Cengelkoy and Kuzguncuk.During Byzantine era it was called Stavros.Beylerbeyi is one of the traditional Bosphorus villages,on Asian side of Istanbul.The people living in Beylerbeyi is Turkish since old times.

Hamidievvel Mosque,which is the most enchanting mosque of Bosphorus ,is placed here.There is Arif Bey Mansion back to the coast of Marmara Sea.Ismail Hakki Pasa Mansion was restored by Ministery of Tourism as a hotel,after the fire on 1970's.

The most attractive point at Beylerbeyi is the Beylerbeyi Palace on the coast of Marmara sea,built by Sarkis Balyan on 1865 with the order of Abdulaziz.

There are many cafe and restaurants on the cosat side of the district.
